What to Do in a Dental Emergency/ How We Treat Dental Emergencies

There are four general steps you should plan to take when faced with a dental emergency:
- Step 1: Call our office. A member of our team will work quickly to schedule a same-day appointment for you or your loved one so that you can get the help you need right away. In the meantime, we’ll offer tips to ensure your mouth does not sustain further damage.
- Step 2:Receive a dental exam. Dr. Sara or Dr. Roxana will begin to examine the problem area of your smile and look at digital images to determine the reason for your dental emergency.
- Step 3: Wait for the dentist to analyze their findings. Once all important information is collected, your emergency dentist will analyze their findings to develop a personalized treatment plan. They will review the plan with you to ensure you are comfortable with the recommended form of treatment.
-
Step 4: Receive essential treatment. We will begin to help you out of pain while also addressing the injured area. This might mean using antibiotics, a dental filling, a custom dental crown, root canal treatment, or even tooth extraction.
